Equipment Selection: Either low intensity tube heater or high intensity heaters depending on available mounting height.  Mid-size BTU heaters often provide the best solution to matching the load and providing good coverage.  No heaters can be placed inside of paint booths.

Installation: Tube heaters, burner boxes, or high intensity models should be placed to protect the outside walls.  Infra-red Heaters with higher BTU’s should also be concentrated around large overhead doors.  Wherever lifts may place cars too close to heaters, clearance from combustibles is of particular concern.  For operational and longevity issues, the use of outside combustion air is highly recommended in dealership work areas.
