Proven Two-Stage Technology. |
| Patented and
introduced in the early 1990’s, Detroit Radiant is
the leader in two-stage technology. Two-stage offers
a 35% differential between firing modes translating
into a documented minimum fuel savings of 12% over
single stage. A 35% reduction in on/off cycles is
also recognized greatly enhancing comfort levels.

Highest Quality
Tubes and Reflectors. |
| Black coated
aluminized steel tubes provide improved heat
transfer and enhanced product longevity. Swedged
tubes provide secure connections and reduce
installation time. Highly polished aluminum
reflectors optimize reflectivity. Important product
features when comparing to un-swedged, hot-rolled
steel tubes (corrosion) with mill finish (poor
reflectivity) reflectors. |

3) |
Improved Features. |
| Micro-processor
controls to help eliminate nuisance shutdowns due to
temporary high winds or gas interruptions by its
"soft-lockout" feature. This feature allows units
to automatically recycle in such events (all models
except HLV). Two-stage heaters feature a LED
self-diagnostic indicator light(s) to assist service
personnel in troubleshooting units. This feature
helps insure accurate problem detection and shortens
service time (all models). |
